Partial Care is a structured behavioral health day program, five days a week, Monday through Friday, 9:30 AM to 3:30 PM. It is delivered in an independent outpatient clinic, not a hospital, for adults 18 and older who need more support than weekly therapy but do not need inpatient care.
The "partial" means you attend during the day and live at home, full clinical structure by day, your own home and life the rest of the time. It is a New Jersey-licensed outpatient level of care for behavioral health, distinct from hospital-based programs.
If you live in Ocean, Monmouth, Burlington, or Atlantic County, yes, and free transportation to The Center is included, with coverage confirmed by phone for your address.
Adults with depression, bipolar disorder, schizophrenia and other psychotic disorders, and co-occurring mental health and substance use (MICA) presentations where behavioral health is the primary diagnosis.
An IOP is a structured substance use treatment program that meets several times a week while you continue living at home. Ours runs Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday evenings, 5:30 PM to 8:45 PM, so working adults can attend.
Sessions run about three hours an evening, three evenings a week. Overall length varies by your progress and treatment plan, the program has a clear endpoint, and many clients step down to the once-weekly Outpatient (OP) level as they stabilize.
