Where we serve · Atlantic and Burlington
These two counties sit at the outer edge of our service area. The ride is longer from here, and for the day program it is ours to provide.
The direct answer
A longer ride than our closer counties, on scheduled routes, to something hard to find nearer home.
Atlantic and Burlington Counties sit at the outer edge of the area we serve, so the ride to our Toms River facility is longer from here than it is from Ocean or Monmouth.
Two things make it work. First, for the Partial Care day program, the ride is ours to provide: free transportation runs into both counties, with coverage varying by location, so one call to (732) 961-9666 confirms whether we can pick up at your address.
Second, what is waiting at the other end is hard to find closer: a behavioral health day program with on-site psychiatric evaluation and medication management, daily catered meals, and small groups.
Every form of Medicaid and NJ FamilyCare is accepted, and admission is confirmed within 24 hours with no waiting list.
If you need partial care in Atlantic County or Burlington County, and especially if other programs have turned you away over Medicaid, that trade has made sense to families and case managers here for years.
Getting to the day program
Atlantic and Burlington
Yes, for the Partial Care day program, on scheduled routes, where coverage allows. Not every address in either county is reachable.
That is exactly why the first step is a phone call: we check your location against the active routes and give you a real answer before anything else gets planned.
Free transportation throughout Ocean, Monmouth, Burlington, and Atlantic Counties. Coverage varies by location, please call us to confirm we can pick up at your address. Free transportation is part of our Partial Care day program.
How the transportation works
If you are placing a client
When a client in Atlantic or Burlington County needs a Medicaid-accepting day program with transportation, the options are thin.
Fast Track Referral confirms all three variables, program fit, Medicaid eligibility and pickup coverage, in one call, so you are not promising a placement the logistics cannot deliver.
If the cost is the worry
Every form of Medicaid and NJ FamilyCare is accepted, along with UnitedHealthcare, Aetna, Horizon, Fidelis and Wellpoint, and we check your coverage before you start rather than after.
Clients who are not enrolled get help applying, which is often the step that has stalled everything else.
If you work days
Substance Use Services, the evening IOP and OP, serves these counties as well. Free ABCS transportation is a day-program service. If you are on Medicaid and join the evening program, we can help you coordinate Modivcare transport.
Many families in these counties choose the day program partly because the ride is included.

The whole journey ends at one address: a single 12,000 square foot facility holding the day program and the evening program, with the vans leaving from it each morning.
