Substance Use Services takes walk-ins every weekday, so if you are searching for same-day rehab admission, start with a walk-in.
We verify your coverage
Medicaid, NJ FamilyCare or commercial, confirmed before you start, usually while you are still on the line. If you do not have Medicaid yet, we help you apply.
No surprises, and no paperwork maze before anyone talks to you.
We confirm the logistics
For the day program, we check free transportation for your address, coverage varies by location, so we check yours specifically. For the evening program, we set a schedule that fits around your job.
Your first day is set
Usually within 24 hours for The Center, and the same week for Substance Use Services. You leave the call knowing the date, the time and how you are getting there.

Whether you searched for a rehab with no waiting list or a day program that starts this week: no callback purgatory, and from day one, you are known by name.

The Center, Partial Care day program

A morning that starts at your door

Monday to Friday, 9:30 AM to 3:30 PM

The ride
If you use our transportation, your driver picks you up in the morning. For many clients, that ride is the first proof this will actually work. Coverage varies by location, so we confirm your address before your first day.

You are in the building, and breakfast is waiting.
The morning
Intake and orientation: meeting your counselor, a psychiatric evaluation scheduled as part of the program, and a walk through how the day runs.
Lunch
Catered, and eaten together. Nobody skips a meal to be here.
The afternoon
Groups run small, and nobody expects you to share your life story on day one. You are home by late afternoon.

An evening that fits around work

IOP Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday, 5:30 to 8:45 PM

You arrive after work, if you are working. Nothing about the evening asks you to give up the job.
Intake
Paperwork built to be light, and a conversation with a counselor about where you are and what the court requires if you are court-involved.
Your week
Your schedule is set with you, around the shifts and the obligations you already have.
Before you leave
You know your counselor's name and your plan before you leave the first night.

Day one

What should I bring?

Your ID
Whatever photo identification you already have.
Insurance card
If you have one. We verify either way, and we help with a Medicaid application if you are not enrolled.
Medication list
Anything you are currently taking, written down or photographed on your phone. Bottles are fine too.

That is enough for day one. If you are missing any of these, come anyway, call first and we will work it out.
