The referral relationships are built into daily operations rather than bolted on: hospitals, probation, and the Ocean County Board of Social Services.
Two programs serve the county from this one building. The Center is our behavioral health Partial Care day program, Monday to Friday, 9:30 AM to 3:30 PM. Substance Use Services is our evening IOP and OP for substance use disorder.
Free transportation to the day program runs throughout Ocean County. Coverage varies by location, so please call (732) 961-9666 to confirm we can pick up at your address.
Every form of Medicaid and NJ FamilyCare is accepted, there is no waiting list, and walk-ins are welcome at intake every weekday.

The vans run county routes every treatment morning and every afternoon, and the office they start from is in the middle of the county rather than at the edge of it. From most of Ocean County that is a short ride.
The ride is part of the Partial Care day program, at no cost to you, for as long as you are in it.

If you live in Ocean County
Yes. The Center, the Partial Care day program at Advanced Behavioral Care Services in Toms River, accepts every form of Medicaid and NJ FamilyCare, helps you apply if you are not enrolled yet, and admits within 24 hours, with free transportation across the county (coverage confirmed by phone for your address).
That combination is why Ocean County case managers and hospital discharge planners have sent clients here for 25 years.
If you are placing a client
Probation, parole, recovery court, pre-trial services, ISP, IDRC, and the Ocean County Board of Social Services all have established referral paths into both divisions.

You can keep your daytime job. The evening IOP runs Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday from 5:30 to 8:45 PM, and OP on Wednesdays.
Intakes run daily and walk-ins are accepted. Free ABCS transportation is a day-program service. If you are on Medicaid and join the evening program, we can help you coordinate Modivcare transport.
