Our commitment
Advanced Behavioral Care Services LLC is committed to making this website usable for everyone, including people who use assistive technology such as screen readers, screen magnifiers, voice control, and keyboard-only navigation. Accessibility is part of how we treat people with dignity, on the website just as in our programs.
The standard we follow
We aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2, Level AA, published by the World Wide Web Consortium (W3C). These guidelines explain how to make web content more accessible to people with a wide range of abilities. We also work to align with the accessibility expectations of the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA).
What we have done
We built this site with accessibility in mind, not as an afterthought. Across the site we work to provide:
- Full keyboard access. Every menu, link, button, form field, and the Fast-Track referral steps can be reached and operated with the Tab, Enter, Space, and arrow keys, in a logical order.
- Visible focus. A clear focus outline shows which element you are on, and sticky headers do not hide the element you have focused.
- Readable contrast. Body and interface text meet WCAG AA contrast in both the light and dark themes and on both light and dark sections.
- A light and dark theme you control, with a header toggle. Your choice is remembered.
- Text alternatives. Images that carry meaning have descriptive alternative text, and decorative images are hidden from assistive technology.
- Clear structure. Pages use one main heading and a logical heading order, so screen-reader users can navigate by heading.
- Forms you can complete. Every field has a visible label, errors are announced in text and not by color alone, and your entries are preserved if something needs to be corrected.
- Comfortable touch targets on mobile, at least 44 by 44 pixels.
- Respect for reduced motion. If your device is set to reduce motion, animations, parallax, and automatic movement are turned off and every element is shown in its final, complete state.
- Content that reflows and stays readable when you zoom in or enlarge text.
Known limitations
We test regularly, but no website is ever perfectly accessible for everyone.
- Some third-party or embedded content, such as an embedded map, may not fully meet our standard. Where that happens, we provide the same information in an accessible form, such as our full address and phone number in text.
- If you find something that does not work for you, please tell us using the contact details below, and we will help you get the information you need.
Tell us about a barrier
If you have trouble using any part of this website, or you need information from it in a different format, we want to hear from you. Please reach out and tell us the page you were on and what happened, and we will respond and work to fix it.
