The short version
If you have a client who needs placement before the clock runs out, a Friday discharge, a probation deadline, a crisis that won't wait two weeks, Advanced Behavioral Care Services can typically confirm the placement the day you call.
We run two NJ DMHAS-licensed programs at one Toms River facility: The Center, a behavioral health Partial Care day program (license #100130105) with 24-hour admission, and Substance Use Services, an evening IOP/OP program (license #2000421) with daily intakes and walk-ins.
Every form of Medicaid and NJ FamilyCare is accepted, and we handle Medicaid applications for clients who aren't enrolled. Free transportation to Partial Care covers Ocean, Monmouth, Burlington, and Atlantic Counties (coverage varies by location, we confirm the client's address on the call).
Complex MICA presentations are a fit, not a rejection: co-occurring treatment runs in both divisions, routed by primary diagnosis. Call (732) 961-9666, send the Fast Track form below, or download the referral packet.
How the Fast Track works
Yes. There is no waiting list in either division at Advanced Behavioral Care Services. The Center confirms Partial Care admissions within 24 hours; Substance Use Services runs intakes every weekday, morning and evening, with walk-ins accepted. If census ever constrains an admission, you'll hear it on the first call, not after your client has waited a week.
Tell us the division you're aiming for, behavioral health day program or evening substance use, or describe the case and we'll route it.
We check Medicaid/insurance eligibility, program fit, and transportation coverage for the client's address while you're on the line whenever possible.
The online form never carries client health information; diagnosis and history are exchanged clinician-to-clinician by phone.
You get confirmation at admission, and updates through treatment under our case-manager communication protocol, not silence after intake.

The primary diagnosis is mental health: schizophrenia, bipolar, major depression, schizoaffective, psychotic or affective disorders, including MICA where mental health is primary.
