Advanced Behavioral Care Services operates from a single 12,000-square-foot facility at 1 South Main Street, Suite 1A, in Toms River, New Jersey. One building, home to both of our programs, run by an organization that has served this region since 2000.
By day, the building runs The Center, our behavioral health day program, Partial Care in Toms River: group rooms, individual counseling offices, on-site psychiatric evaluation and medication management, a dining room serving catered daily meals, and an on-site gym.
By evening, the same building hosts Substance Use Services, our Intensive Outpatient and Outpatient program for substance use disorder. Both divisions are licensed by NJ DMHAS, and both license numbers are posted on this page and in our site footer.

The same building hosts our Intensive Outpatient and Outpatient program for substance use disorder, built around a working week: people come after work, keep the job, and go home afterwards.
This program has no on-site psychiatrist and does not include ABCS transportation. Medicaid clients get help coordinating Modivcare, their Medicaid benefits transport.

No appointment needed for an intake conversation, Monday through Friday. Here is what is not required, and what actually happens once you are through the door.

Give your name at the desk. Nobody asks you to explain yourself in a waiting room.
Usually within minutes, not hours. It is a conversation, not a form to fill in alone.
If you do not, come anyway and we will sort out coverage together, including Medicaid applications.
