1. Who we are
This website is operated by Advanced Behavioral Care Services LLC ("ABCS," "we," "us"), an adult outpatient behavioral health and substance use services provider located at:
Advanced Behavioral Care Services

Toms River, NJ 08757

This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect through this website, how we use it, and the choices you have. It applies to this website only. It does not describe how we handle medical or treatment records — that is governed by our HIPAA Notice of Privacy Practices, provided to clients at intake.
2. This website is not for medical information
Please do not submit medical details, diagnoses, treatment history, medication information, or any other health information through this website. Our forms are intentionally limited to basic contact fields and general-purpose dropdown menus so that no health information is collected online. If you need to discuss your situation, or a client's situation, please call us at (732) 961-9666 — that conversation is handled under our clinical confidentiality practices, not through this website.
If you are experiencing a medical or mental health emergency, call 911 or the 988 Suicide & Crisis Lifeline (call or text 988). Do not use this website to seek emergency help.
3. Information we collect
We collect only the following categories of information through this website:
a. Information you submit through our forms. Our contact, admissions inquiry, Fast Track Referral, and insurance verification forms collect: name, email address, phone number (optional), and your selections from fixed dropdown menus (such as how you heard about us, the general reason for your inquiry, or an insurance carrier). The forms contain no free-text fields and no fields for medical or diagnostic information. Our careers page accepts resume submissions from job applicants.
b. Usage and device information (analytics). Through Google Analytics 4, we collect pages visited, approximate (city-level) location, device and browser type, and referring source. IP addresses are not stored in analytics reports, query strings are stripped of non-attribution parameters, Google Signals (cross-device/demographic collection) is disabled, and Google's automatic redaction of email- and phone-shaped data is enabled.
c. Technical logs and security data. Our hosting and security providers (listed in Section 5) automatically process IP address, browser information, and request data to serve the site, prevent abuse, and block automated spam.
We do not collect: health, diagnosis, or treatment information through this website; Social Security numbers; payment card data (this website processes no payments); precise geolocation; or biometric data. We do not maintain a marketing email list, and submitting a form does not subscribe you to anything — the email address you provide is used only to reply to your inquiry.
4. How we use your information
| Information | Purpose |
|---|---|
| Form submissions (contact, admissions, referral, insurance verification) | To respond to your inquiry, verify insurance coverage on your behalf, and coordinate next steps you requested |
| Resume submissions | To evaluate your employment application |
| Analytics data | To understand how the website is used and improve it |
| Technical/security logs | To operate the website, maintain security, and prevent spam and abuse |
We do not use website information for advertising profiles, and we do not build remarketing audiences from visitors to our service, insurance, or transportation pages.
5. Sharing and disclosure — our service providers
We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising (as "sell" and "share" are defined in the California Consumer Privacy Act as amended).
We use the following service providers ("processors") to operate this website. Each processes data only to provide its service to us:
| Provider | What it does for us | Data it processes | Privacy policy |
|---|---|---|---|
| Vercel Inc. | Website hosting and delivery | IP address, request logs, device/browser data | https://vercel.com/legal/privacy-policy |
| Supabase Inc. | Website database (stores content and form submissions) | Form submission data described in Section 3(a) | https://supabase.com/privacy |
| Cloudflare, Inc. (R2) | Media file storage (site images and documents) | Website media files; request logs | https://www.cloudflare.com/privacypolicy/ |
| Cloudflare, Inc. (Turnstile) | Form anti-spam / bot protection | IP address, browser characteristics, challenge tokens | https://www.cloudflare.com/privacypolicy/ |
| Resend, Inc. | Transactional email delivery (sends us your form submission; sends you a confirmation reply) | Name, email address, form contents described in Section 3(a) | https://resend.com/legal/privacy-policy |
| Google LLC (Google Analytics 4 / Tag Manager) | Website analytics | Usage and device data described in Section 3(b) | https://policies.google.com/privacy |
We may also disclose information when required by law (for example, a valid subpoena or court order), or to protect the rights, safety, or property of ABCS or others.
6. Your privacy rights
Depending on your state of residence, you may have the right to:
- Know / access the personal information we have collected about you;
- Delete personal information we collected from you;
- Correct inaccurate personal information;
- Opt out of "sale" or "sharing" of personal information (we do neither) and of targeted advertising;
- Non-discrimination — we will not deny services, charge different rates, or provide a different quality of service because you exercised a privacy right.
Global Privacy Control: this website honors the Global Privacy Control (GPC) browser signal as an opt-out where required by law.
7. How to exercise your rights
Submit a request by calling (732) 961-9666 or emailing admissions@advancedbehavioral.com with the subject line "Privacy Request." We will need to verify your identity before acting on a request — typically by matching the contact information you provide against the information we hold. You may use an authorized agent where the law allows. We will respond within the time required by applicable law (generally 45 days, extendable once).
8. Automated decision-making
We do not use automated decision-making or profiling that produces legal or similarly significant effects about you through this website. No admission, insurance, or treatment decision is made by automated means.
9. Cookies
This website uses a small number of cookies for analytics and security (spam protection). For the full list, purposes, durations, and how to opt out, see our Cookie Notice. We honor the Global Privacy Control signal and provide opt-out controls as described there.
10. Data retention
- Analytics data: retained in Google Analytics for 14 months, the configured maximum.
- Inquiry and contact form submissions: retained in the website database for 90 days from your last interaction with the submission, then deleted automatically by a scheduled daily process. A copy also reaches our staff inbox by email; we keep those messages only as long as needed to respond to you and to keep a record of the contact, and no longer than 12 months.
- Job applications and resumes: the website does not store them. A resume you attach is delivered to our hiring inbox by email and is never saved to this website's database or file storage. We keep applications for at least one year from the date we receive them or from the date of the related hiring decision, whichever is later, because federal employer record-keeping rules require it, and longer only where a claim or charge is pending.
- Consent records: your cookie and consent choices, and a copy of the notice you were shown, are kept for 4 years as proof of the choice you made.
- Server/security logs: retained per the providers' standard log-retention windows.
11. Children's privacy
Our services are provided to adults 18 and older, and this website is not directed to children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 13 (or under 18 through our inquiry forms). If you believe a child has submitted information through this website, contact us at (732) 961-9666 and we will delete it.
12. Data security
We use industry-standard safeguards, including encryption in transit (HTTPS) for all pages and forms, access controls on the website database, and bot protection on forms. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
13. International visitors
This website is intended for visitors in the United States, and our services are provided only in New Jersey. Information collected through this website is processed in the United States. We do not target visitors in the European Union or United Kingdom, and this policy is not drafted to GDPR requirements.
14. Changes to this policy
We review this Privacy Policy at least once every 12 months and update it when our practices change. The "Last updated" date at the top reflects the latest revision. Material changes will be posted on this page.
