The Center · Partial Care
For adults with depression, bipolar disorder, schizophrenia, schizoaffective disorder, or co-occurring (MICA) conditions where mental health is primary. Monday to Friday, 9:30 AM to 3:30 PM. Free transportation to Partial Care, 4 counties, coverage varies by location. On-site psychiatric evaluation and medication management. No waiting list, 24-hour admission.
Substance Use Services
For adults with substance use disorder, with or without co-occurring mental health conditions, including court-involved treatment. IOP: Mon, Tue, Wed evenings, 5:30 to 8:45 PM. OP: Wed, 5:30 to 7:00 PM. Built for working adults. Daily intakes, walk-ins welcome.
For referrers
Case managers, hospital discharge planners, and probation officers: confirm admission, Medicaid eligibility, and Partial Care transportation, where coverage varies by location, in a single call. Same-day answers, and no waiting list.
Most programs in New Jersey will put you on a list. Two weeks becomes six. In that gap, people relapse, miss probation appointments, or end up back in the emergency room. Families told us the same three things stop treatment before it starts: no ride, no coverage, and no answer when they call.

A licensed, independent outpatient center, here since 2000. In plain terms, this is what we do.
Advanced Behavioral Care Services is a licensed independent outpatient treatment center, not part of any hospital, for adults 18 and older at 1 South Main Street, Suite 1A, Toms River, NJ. Founded in 2000, we run two programs under one roof.
The Center is our Partial Care day program for behavioral health, depression, bipolar disorder, schizophrenia, and co-occurring conditions, Monday through Friday, 9:30 AM to 3:30 PM, with on-site psychiatric evaluation and medication management.
Substance Use Services is our evening program for substance use disorder: an Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP) Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday from 5:30 to 8:45 PM, and an Outpatient Program (OP) Wednesdays from 5:30 to 7:00 PM.
We accept every form of Medicaid and NJ FamilyCare, plus UnitedHealthcare, Aetna, Horizon, Fidelis, and Wellpoint, and we verify your coverage before you start. There is no waiting list. Free transportation to the Partial Care program covers Ocean, Monmouth, Burlington, and Atlantic Counties; coverage varies by location, so call to confirm pickup at your address.
